Digital Teaching Resources For Literature

These digital lessons are prepared to help students read and study the book Tuesdays With Morrie by Mitch Albom.

These lessons are created in Google Slides format, with text boxes provided where students can interactively fill in their answers.

Answer keys are included in a separate file in the bundle of files that go with this product.

How does this work?

  • When you buy this item, you will receive a PDF file with links to the Google Slides files for the Tuesdays With Morrie Digital Lessons.
  • You will open the PDF file with the links in it while your Google Drive is also open in another tab.
  • When you click on each link, you will be asked if you want to copy the file to your Google Drive. Simply respond "yes," and the files will go into your Google Drive.
  • You can then use and assign them as you would any other files in your Google Drive.
  • The lessons may also be used in Google Classroom or made available in an online password-protected environment that is for your students to download, complete, and electronically return to you either within your system or via email attachment.

This digital unit for Tuesdays With Morrie includes 18 separate digital lessons:

Notes:

  • Lessons 1-7 each have vocabulary worksheets, study questions, and a reader response page directly related to the reading assignment being covered.
  • The other lessons are intended for use after reading the whole book; however, you could sprinkle some in between Lessons 1-7 to break up the monotony of reading and answering questions. For example, the Nonfiction Assignment, Descriptive Writing Assignment, and Conflict lesson could be done any time after Lesson 3. And, of course, you could insert any of your own creative, favorite activities as appropriate as well.
  • Each lesson is its own file, to make giving and collecting individual assignments easier.
